we liked location and rooms, no complaints whatsoever. prague 2 neighbourhood is worth looking into. nothing beats being in best western city moran.
-
The location was good, outside the most crowded areas and yet near the tourist-attractions as well as the peaceful hotel itself not crowded either; very friendly and english-speaking staff from whom we got all the help and guideness we needed.
-
The hotel meets the good Best Western standards. The room was pretty big, clean and comfortable. And warm (it was winter)! The breakfast was wealthy. An optimal price/service ratio.
Do not leave your car on the street! I got a penalty because of forbidden parking.
-
This is a good value for money, but nothing especially remarkable. The breakfast is quite good, the room is a little on the small side, but acceptable.
First off, it occured to be not that close to the city center as we expected. Secondly, the room which was supposed to be non-smoking one, had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. And finally, though I indicated in my booking that there would be 3 guests including one child, upon arrival in hte late evening, we found the room with one bed and just two pillows (the third pillow was readily brought by a night receptionist on duty though).

Our third stay at this hotel and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future. Slightly away from the usual tourist haunts and therefore a quieter and less commercialised area. An easy and pleasant walk along the river soon brings you to Charles Bridge and the Old Town etc. and in the opposite direction is the Vysehrad area interestingly different with alternative views of the city. The hotel has a useful little mini-mart in reception just the thing for a night cap or late night nibbles or any forgotton necessities. Nearby are several local bar/restaurants serving delicious Czech food (and beer) at very competitive prices! Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful, staff polite and helpful and all is spotlessly clean throughout.
-
Very good location close to river and Charles Bridge; bright modern rooms, all amenities, good breakfast, free parking on weekends across street.
Due to street corner location can be somewhat noisy on workday mornings
-
Good location. Nice room. Kettle and fridge in room. Shop in reception. Very helpful staff. Good advice in folder in room. Breakfast up until 11 am. Great
-
Free Wifi worked fine, location very central.
They converted the price in Euro displayed by Booked.net with a very bad exchange rate into Czech Crowns - in the end I had to pay 35 Euros more. Although I am coming frequently to Prague, this did never before happen to me. I feel ripped-off and clearly will not return to this hotel.
-
Excellent accommodation with good breakfast buffet. Location next to the Metro and tram stops is ideal for public transport to/from the airport and all parts of the city.
If you like the windows open at night it can be noisy with trams and early morning refuse collections
-
Good and clean hotel, Near underground, good location for storting to explore Prague.
-
It was near the underground subway system and on a bus line, so it was easy to get to, once we figured out the schedules. It also was close to the River Moldau, which is a very nice walk. It was clean and friendly and the desk clerks spoke English or German.
The location was quite a long walk from the city square, when we decided to walk. However, that was our decision and we could have taken a bus.
-
Probably one of the most comfortable, well-located and inexpensive hotels in Prague.
Stains on the floor in the rooms and corridor
-
